Who is United Laundry?
We are not a laundromat, we are not open to the public, we are a professional laundry service company, specially
set up to handle commercial, residential and campus laundry. You simply can not get the same results from your local
laundromat. Plus we NEVER mix clothing, a common practice in neighborhood laundromats.

How is my laundry picked up and dropped off?
We will pick up according to your set schedule, weekly or bi-weekly. You will know the day and time of your
pick up and delivery.

Who is laundering my clothes?
We do! we don't use a middle man, all your clothing is processed in our New Jersey facility.

I have dry cleaning, what do I do?
Laundry service plans do not include dry cleaning, however we can provide your with expert dry cleaning
at separate unbeatable rates! Once you sign up for a laundry service plan, you will receive a price list for dry cleaning,
whenever you have dry cleaning, simply place your dry cleaning in a separate bag and we will pick it up along with your
regular laundry.

Can I put any clothing item in my bag?
You laundry package includes all "regular laundry", such as pants, shirts, sheets, socks, underwear, towels, and any
non-dry cleaning item. Comforters may be processed but will be charged separately, if you are not sure about a clothing
item, please call us, we will be more than happy to assist you.

What if I exceed my laundry service plan limit?
No problem, if you exceed your weekly or bi-weekly poundage limit, you will only be charged an extra $0.85 per pound for
every pound over the limit. To avoid you any hassles, any extra charges will be billed to you at the end of the month, with
a statement so you can see your usage. Also, if you constantly exceed your weekly poundage limit, one of our
representatives will contact you to offer you an upgrade to a larger plan.

Can you process delicates?
Of course!

Can you process special items (leather, silk or cashmere, etc.)?
Quotes for special items are available if requested, however, expect our prices to be well below standard laundry or dry
cleaning facilities!

What happens if I miss a pick up.  Can I make it up the following semester?
No, United Laundry does not offer refunds for individual weeks.

Can I cancel part of the way through the semester?
You may cancel any time before October 1st for the Fall, and March 1st in the Spring. You will be refunded on a pro rated
basis minus a $25 cancellation fee.

If I sign up midway through the semester, do I have to pay for a full semester?
No, you will be charged on a pro rated basis, depending on the number of weeks remaining in the semester.

How do you know which bag is mine?
Our tagging and ID system will make sure your bag is not lost, we can track your bag throughout the entire process.

Is the service expensive?
No, our price plans are designed to cost you less than if YOU would drop off and pick up your laundry at a local Laundromat
during an entire semester or year. Remember, we save you time and hassles!
